Education and Community Engagement
The Colour Foundry have vast experience of working within the Education and Community Sectors. Many of our projects develop through working directly with people of all ages in community and educational settings. Our experience of working with groups ranges from under 3 year olds in pre school settings, through to Grandparents and Great Grandparents in Sheltered housing environments.
We are always excited and enthusiastic about sharing our expertise in Visual Art, Digital Art, Music Production and Creative Tech with groups and individuals. We have recently completed a 2 year project working alongside teachers to support the development of creativity in the classroom and throughout the curriculum, funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Parallel Rhythms was an exciting educational exploration of traditional and digital approaches to mark making and music. It provided a platform for teachers to further develop skills and confidence within their practice and classroom teaching. The project gave teachers the tools to deliver rich creative experiences for their learners.
The project put creativity and the celebration of individuality at the fore when working with both teachers and children. The creative sharings that we explored throughout the project were full of joy and were designed to capture imaginations, draw out creative individuality and enrich the curriculum.
Our approach to working with teachers on an individual level, enables focus on the development journey that they have defined for themselves. This bespoke approach led to many diverse and exciting outcomes that will live on beyond the life of the project.
